Mrs. McConkey’s 5th graders brought history to life at today’s Wax Museum! Students confidently stepped into the roles of historical figures like Mark Twain, Anne Frank, Helen Keller, Thomas Jefferson, and more. Their presentations, and posters were outstanding. So proud of all their hard work! 🎩

Our Smithsonian club, led by Mrs. Burdette, wrapped up their final virtual exchange with students from Maine. Each student shared a powerful local history presentations rooted in place and community. Watching students connect, listen, and learn from one another across state lines was a reminder of what meaningful learning looks like. Proud of the skills they’ve built, and even more excited for next semester’s new partnerships! 👏
A HUGE shout-out to our maintenance staff lead by Tom Wages. Tom puts in some overnight hours this time of year to make sure things are clear when we arrive in the morning. Thank you!

The 8th Grade boys basketball Fulton County tournament scheduled for Sat 13th in Canton has been cancelled. They will play on Monday 15th for 3rd place vs Canton at 6:15, good luck!
Jr High Volleyball practice & HS girls basketball practice have been cancelled for today (12-12)...Jr high boys basketball practice will now be at the HS instead of the elementary.
