Today, Mrs. Mayall got to read Johnny Appleseed to Kindergarten! The students also impressed her with everything they have been learning about apples this week. A few of them even sent their Johnny Appleseed's with her as a gift!

Tuesday, September 29th is Jennifer Burdette Day at SRV. Mrs. Burdette has been named "Illinois Rural Teacher of the Year". We are inviting all students at SRV to attend a ceremony on Tuesday where Mrs. Burdette will be recognized. To show our support and help Mrs. Burdette celebrate, we are asking all students to wear something blue!!
