🏀 It’s Tournament Day! 🏀 We’re proud to host the 8th Grade Girls Fulton County Basketball Tournament today at Spoon River Valley! 📅 Saturday Schedule: • 6 games throughout the day • 🎟️ Admission: $5 all-day pass / $3 students & seniors • 🐾 North Fulton Lady Cats take on Farmington at 12:00 PM and South Fulton at 1:00 PM The tournament continues through Wednesday, October 29, with: 5th Place Game - 5:00 PM 🏅 3rd Place Game – 6:00 PM 🏆 Championship Game – 7:00 PM Good luck to Coach Vass and our Wildcat girls!

Due to a wide spread power outage the board of education meeting originally scheduled for this evening is postponed to Tuesday, October 21 at 6 pm.

Due to a large area power outage, the High School Volleyball game originally scheduled at Valley for this evening has been moved to Cuba. Start time is still 6 pm.

Our Smithsonian exchange group met with their new friends from Maine again today. It's interesting to watch the students as they gain insight from those in different situations from them. #4teamvalley

Senior Morgyn Guppy put her science experiment to the test today in Mrs. Mayall’s class, exploring how music affects maze-running skills of her furry friends Larry, Mo, and Curly. 🐁🎶 Turns out, classical calm study tunes helped the mice find their way fastest! 🏃‍♂️💨 After all that and maze-running our little scientists needed a nap.

📚 The Elementary Book Fair is officially open! Students are exploring new stories, discovering favorite characters, and building their love for reading. ❤️

The JV football game tonight (Monday 10/20) is cancelled, but don’t miss Volleyball Senior Night at 6:00 PM vs. Brimfield! 🏐 Come out and support our Lady Wildcats and help us celebrate our incredible seniors.

Conferences are this week on Wednesday and Thursday from 5-8. Please stop in the office to pick up report cards while visiting your child's teachers
