So tonight was a little more than just a game. We took time to dedicate the gym floor to a man that has poured his heart into the student athletes at Valley for 50 years. Thank you Dave Freeman! Your influence will be felt for many years to come.

Reminder Valley will dismiss students at 11:30 am on Friday, January 30

Mrs. Weese’s class wrapped up their literature circles today, engaging in student-led discussions around Out of My Mind (Sharon M. Draper), Mockingbird (Kathryn Erskine), Keoko (Linda Sue Park), and No Place (Todd Strasser).
Literature circles give students ownership of their learning—building empathy and sharpening discussion and critical thinking skills through meaningful conversation. Well done! 👏

Due to the dangerously low temperatures and windchills expected on Friday morning, in the interest of the safety of our students, Valley will be doing a remote learning day on Friday, January 23rd. Materials will go home with students and/or be available electronically. #4teamvalley
